The first year we sat outside Maggiano's, an amazing Italian resturaunt (that he couldn't afford, being a senior in high school) and he gave me his class ring. It was way too big so I wrapped tape around the back and wore it on my thumb all through highschool. He thinks I've lost it by now but I haven't... it's in the bottom drawer of my beautifully engraved jewelry that he surprised me with several years ago :) The years run together when I try to think of everything he's done for me. But this year wasn't a Tiffany's bracelet or an engraved jewelry box.... it was something I've always told him I have wanted to do. Michael likes that I love photography but he'd be the first to tell you that I can sometimes become obsessed with it. It can very easily control a large majority of my time and he is the one who feels the repercussions of that. So when I opened my letter on Friday Oct. 10th, I was shocked when I saw what was inside. I've always wanted to go on a roadtrip in the mountains and just take pictures! Just stop on the side of the road whereever there was a pretty spot! So that is what we did! All day saturday! He let me take picture after picture until all the trees started to look the same! It was quite a gift and I loved it! We finished off the night in downtown Ashville for dinner. Take a look at some of the pics!
Michael thank you for my day! I love you! Happy 6 years!
Ok so I forgot tennis shoes! I had to wear Michael's and they almost fit!! (I have huge feet!!)
Michael took this one! I'm so proud:)
Around this time, Michael saw me taking pics of these meters and all he said was "aw, you're special" hahaha

So this summer I took a picture of this same wall but this time it had a little addition to it. I'm not making a political statement... but you gotta' agree it looks pretty cool!
