So besides all the senior portraits that have been going on, I have had another project. :) At the beginning of the summer I decided to give my little brother my room! I have the biggest bedroom in the house and it stays empty most of the year. This idea seemed like a fun, cheap, yet meaningful birthday present! However, I was reminded how much I DESPISE the painting process! After we ("we" as in momma and daddy:) finally got the color of the wall, I started having fun!:)
Everything in my room is from Walmart & Target! (with the exception of two PotteryBarn pillows!! :)
The goal was to bargain shop and it was acheived!
These are some quick before and after pictures!!
A few tips!
- Top: The top three jars come in a set for $5 at Target, the flowers are $2 at Walmart and they tie the coral in with the whole room! It doesn't take much to accent a room.
-Bottom left: You can never have enough twigs!! They add height and fill empty space perfectly!!
-Bottom Right: Pillows! Pillows! Pillows! I love me some pillows! Mix and Match!!! Be brave!!
